Wedding at The Tapestry House by Wedgewood Weddings

Kes and Riley were a great couple to work with and I loved being able to capture their day! The wedding was on Monday, November 1st, and the venue was the Tapestry House by Wedgewood Wedding. The intense raincloud coverage of this day made for some magical colors and soft light pictures!

The Wedding Dress

I get tired seeing other wedding photographers capture these boring pictures of the dress hanging. They usually just capture the picture right inside the getting ready suite or someplace dull. I have nothing wrong with that, but please include the bride getting ready in the picture with it. Otherwise, take the dress someplace elegant or beautiful like the picture below!

Careful Ring Shots

The rings are always something I love to capture for the couples I work for at each wedding. I attempt to go above and beyond with my macro/detail photography, so I decided to carefully place the rings on the branch of an outside tree. If you don't know this about me yet, I LOVE TREES!!!

HandFasting Ceremony

If you're unfamiliar with the term, just look at the picture below and you will quickly understand! Handfasting ceremonies are super traditional and a very unique way to get married!

Crazy PortraitS

Fair warning... If you ever hire me as a wedding photographer, you will have a lot of fun... Well the kind of fun that involves doing weird things! Here are some portraits that I captured after the ceremony. The lack of light was quite challenging, but nothin' is stoping me! BRING IT ON LIGHT! I WILL FIGHT YOU!!!

A Dramatic Reception

I try to avoid using dramatic lighting setups, but it seemed to be a good idea for the style of this reception! Once I got the couple's approval, I captured these fantastic images!

Oh, and one more thing
